Pursuant to section 4 (4) of the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, the National Rural Fire Authority hereby makes the following notice.
Notice
1. Title and commencement-(1) This notice may be cited as the Waimea Rural Fire District Abolition Notice 2004.
(2) This notice will come into force 28 days after publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
2. Abolition of Waimea Rural Fire District-The Waimea Rural Fire District is hereby abolished.
3. Revocation of Rural Fire District Notice-The Waimea Rural Fire District Notice 1992* is hereby revoked.
