Pursuant to section 60 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, the Transit New Zealand Board gives notice that the section of State Highway No. 1 described in the First Schedule hereto is revoked, and the section of road described in the Second Schedule hereto is declared to be State Highway No. 1 within the meaning and for the purpose of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989.
First Schedule
The old alignment section of State Highway No. 1, commencing east of the north western intersection with Coach Road and proceeding generally in a south easterly direction to the south eastern intersection with Coach Road (Route Position 550/11.86 to Route Position 550/17.00); a distance of approximately 5.24 kilometres.
Second Schedule
The newly constructed Mangaiti Deviation section of State Highway No. 1, commencing east of the north western intersection with Coach Road and proceeding generally in a south easterly direction to the south eastern intersection with Coach Road (Route Position 550/11.86 to Route Position 550/17.00); a distance of approximately 4.85 kilometres.
