Road: Napier Region
It is notified that Transit New Zealand, by resolution dated
10 March 2004 and pursuant to section 88 (1) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, hereby declares those parts of State highway described in the Schedule hereto, and as more particularly shown on Plans LA3/14/37 and LA30/95/1 and accompanying Schedules held in the office of the Regional Manager, Transit New Zealand, Napier, and there available for public inspection, to be limited access road.
Schedule
(a) In Gisborne District, that section of State Highway No. 2 commencing at the Waipaoa Roundabout and proceeding in a generally southerly direction to the northern abutment of the Muriwai Railway Overbridge (Route Position 443/2.96 to Route Position 461/0.00); a distance of 15.04 kilometres.
(b) In Hastings District, that section of State Highway No. 50 commencing at the northern abutment of the Ben Lomond Bridge and proceeding in a generally south westerly direction to the northern abutment of Manga-o-nuku Bridge No. 1 (Route Position 33/5.82 to Route Position 49/0.00); a distance of 10.18 kilometres.
