Notice of Meeting of Creditors
Pursuant to Section 243 of the Companies Act 1993
Public notice is hereby given that a meeting of creditors of Matai Enterprises Limited (in liquidation) will be held at the offices of Martin Jarvie PKF, Level Four, 85 The Terrace, Wellington, on the 1st day of July 2003 at 2.00 p.m.
Background
On the 10th day of June 2003, it was resolved by special resolution of shareholders, pursuant to section 241 (2) (a) of the Companies Act 1993, that Matai Enterprises Limited be put into liquidation and that Robert Anthony Elms, chartered accountant of Martin Jarvie PKF, be appointed liquidator for the purpose.
The liquidation commenced on the 10th day of June 2003
at 3.50 p.m.
Business of Meeting
1. Appointment of Liquidator:
To consider whether to confirm the appointment of the liquidator appointed by the shareholders of the company or to appoint another liquidator in place of the present liquidator and, if thought fit, to pass the following resolution:
"That no liquidator be appointed to replace the present liquidator."
2. Conduct of Liquidation:
To consider whether the liquidator should be asked
to have regard to the views, if any, of creditors in conducting the liquidation and, if thought fit, to pass the following resolution:
"That no views as to the conduct of the liquidation be placed before the liquidator."
