Pursuant to section 167A of the Land Transfer Act 1952, the Registrar-General of Land may specify an electronic form for any consent, approval, certification or other matter that is a prerequisite for the deposit of a plan under section 167 or the issue of a certificate of title or Computer Register.
Specifications for electronic deposit documents
An electronic deposit document is in an acceptable form when it contains the following information:
? Name of the approving territorial authority.
? Survey number.
? Surveyor.
? Surveyor firm.
? A description of the purpose of the survey.
? Land Registration District.
? A consent, approval or certification (and any related conditions) as per one or more of the formats set out in the Schedule below.
