Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager of the Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of Conservation notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Christchurch City Council on 22 August 2002:
"That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Christchurch City Council resolves that the piece of land held by the Council in fee simple, and described in the Schedule, be declared to be a recreation reserve.

Canterbury Land District-Christchurch City Council
1085 square metres, being Lot 9, D.P. 5123. All certificate of title 569/96."
