Under section 18 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987,
the Minister of Conservation hereby declares that the conservation areas described in the Schedule shall be
set apart as a wildlife refuge, subject to the provisions of
the Wildlife Act 1953, that a speed restriction of 5 knots shall apply within the refuge and that the area shall be known as the Lake Pearson (Moana Rua) Wildlife Refuge.
