Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Wanganui Conservancy of the Department of Conservation notifies that the following resolution
was passed by the New Plymouth District Council on
12 February 2002:
"That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the New Plymouth District Council resolves that the piece of land held by the council in fee simple, and described in the Schedule be declared to be a local purpose (scenic) reserve within the meaning of the said Act."
