in Land for the PENLINK Toll Road in the
Rodney District
Notice is hereby given that Rodney District Council, under the provisions of section 23 of the Public Works Act 1981, proposes to take the right of way interest in land described in the Schedule hereto ("the land").
The land is required for the proposed PENLINK project.
It is intended to use the land for road.
The intended taking is considered reasonably necessary for the construction and subsequent operation of the PENLINK roading project that is considered to be for the greater public good.
The route for the road has been selected following full consideration of possible alternative routes.
The land use is in accordance with the designation under the district plan.
The owners of the land and those persons with a registered interest in it have been served with notice of Rodney District Council's intention to take the land and advised of their right to object.
Any other person having the right to object may send
a written objection to the Registrar, Environment Court, Tribunals Division, Department for Courts, P.O. Box 5027, Wellington, within 20 working days after the date of publication of this notice.
If any objection is made in accordance with this notice,
a public hearing will be held.
The objector will have a right to appear and be heard personally, unless the objector otherwise requires.
Each objector will be informed of the time and place of the hearing.

Land at 1695/1697 East Coast Road, Redvale, being the interest as held in dominant tenement in that part of the
right of way specified in the easement certificate B. 165476.9; marked "A" on D.P. 100141, appurtenant to the land described as part Lot 1, D.P. 95984, Computer Register 80D/150, North Auckland Registry, which lies within section 7 on S.O. Plan 70770.
