Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for a mines rescue station, the right of way easement in perpetuity described in the Second Schedule hereto (being appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto) is hereby acquired over the land described in the Third Schedule hereto and vests in the Crown, excepting out all coal and other minerals contained in Computer Register SA1406/66, on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette, subject to existing easements created by B. 610967.2 and 5461426.6 and mining rights over part created by Transfer 130822.

All that piece of land being part Lot 5, D.P. 305165 (part Computer Register 21115); marked "B", "C" and "D" on S.O. Plan 314496.
