Notice Redefining the Purposes of a

Maori Reservation
Whereas by the notice dated the 8th day of October 1981 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 15 October 1981, No. 118, page 2841, part of the Maori freehold land known as Waipoua 2B3D2A2B2 created by partition order dated 23 March 1954, was set apart as a Maori reservation known as Pahinui Marae, for the purpose of a community marae for the common use and benefit of the Te Roroa tribe.
And whereas Waipoua 2B3D2A2B2C was partitioned by Court orders dated 20 May 1998 and 27 September 1994 to create Waipoua 2B3D2A2B2C.
And whereas, pursuant to section 338 (5) (c) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the purpose of a community marae is redefined by changing the name of the Maori reservation that shall now be known as Pananawe in respect of the land described in the Schedule hereto.
