Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the reservation over that part of the recreation reserve described in the Schedule and declares that the land may be disposed of by the Thames-Coromandel District Council at a price and on terms and conditions as council determines, the proceeds from sale to be paid into council's reserves account, such money to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.
