Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the reservation over that part of the local purpose (esplanade) reserve described in the Schedule and declares that the land may be disposed of by the Whakatane District Council for amalgamation into the title of adjoining property at a price or other consideration and on terms and conditions as the council determines, with any net proceeds of sale to be paid into the council's general funds.
