Notice 2003
Pursuant to section 13A (1) (a-i) of the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Act 1976, the following notice is given.
N o t i c e
1. Title and commencement-(1) This notice may be cited as the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Fees Notice 2003.
(2) This notice comes into force on 23 January 2004.
2. Fees-The Opticians Board sets the following fees payable to the board specified in the attached Schedule.
3. Tax-The fees are inclusive of goods and services tax.

Annual practising certificate fee for practitioners on the Registers of Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians holding an annual practising certificate in the year 1 April to 31 March who purchase a certificate for the following year up to and including 31 March.1 280.00
Annual practising certificate fee for practitioners on the Registers of Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians holding an annual practising certificate in the year 1 April to31 March who purchase a certificate for the following year after 1 April and who are practising after 1 April. 420.00
Certificate of registration. 30.00
Restoration of name to the Register. 55.00
Supplying any document to enable registration outside New Zealand. 30.00
Copy of Register. 30.00

1This fee also applies to practitioners who are newly registered, and those who have been non-practising and then return to practice, after 1 April.
