Pursuant to the Insurance Companies (Ratings and Inspections) Act 1994, Lumley General Insurance (N.Z.) Limited gives notice that its financial strength rating has been downgraded by Standard & Poor's from "A" to "A-".
This is a result of the purchase of Lumley General Insurance (N.Z.) Limited's parent company by Wesfarmers Group
of Australia which itself has an "A-" rating.
An "A-" rating is defined as "strong" by Standard & Poor's.
