The Board of the Tertiary Education Commission
Te Amorangi Matauranga Matua approved, pursuant to section 8 of the Industry Training Act 1992, provisional recognition for the New Zealand Journalists Industry Training Organisation to set standards at Levels 1 to 8 on the National Qualifications Framework for the news and feature reporting industry (including print, radio and television) for a period of 12 months with effect from 20 October 2003.
