Te Amorangi Matauranga Matua approved, pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, full recognition for the Motor Industry Training Organisation Incorporated to set standards at Levels 1 to 8 on the National Qualifications Framework for the motor industry and industrial textile fabrication industry with effect from
20 October 2003.
