Te Amorangi Matauranga Matua approved, pursuant to section 8 of the Industry Training Act 1992, a period
of provisional recognition for the Leather Industry
Training Organisation Incorporated to set standards at Levels 1 to 8 on the National Qualifications Framework for the leather and footwear manufacturing industry with effect from 21 September 2003 to 31 December 2003.
