Te Amorangi Matauranga Matua approved, pursuant to section 8 of the Industry Training Act 1992, provisional recognition to the New Zealand Painting Contractors Association of Employers Industry Training Organisation Incorporated for a period of up to 12 months to set standards at Levels 1 to 8 on the National Qualifications Framework for the painting and paperhanging (defined as painting
and decorating), sign writing and bricklaying, masonry and stonemasonry industries.
