Pursuant to section 59 (2) of the Public Finance Act 1989, the Minister of Finance gives the following notice:
"On 4 October 2003, I, The Honourable Dr Michael Cullen, Minister of Finance, gave an indemnity in favour of United Air Lines Inc, under an agreement entered into between Her Majesty the Queen in right
of New Zealand acting by and through the Chief of Defence Force (RNZAF) for the provision of flight training services. The indemnity will indemnify United Air Lines Inc against third party claims resulting from simulator or instructional error."
