The Tertiary Education Commission Te Amorangi Matauranga Matua approved, pursuant to section 8 of the Industry Training Act 1992, provisional recognition for Infratrain New Zealand Limited to set standards at Levels
1-8 on the National Qualifications Framework for the following industries for a period of up to seven months with effect from 20 July 2003.
Industries covered include the road construction and maintenance, civil engineering works (not being civil engineering design), demolition, agricultural contracting and spraying, roadmarking and bitumen industries; and those enterprises whose core business is involved with property valuation, architecture, engineering, graphics, product development, management, manufacturing, surveying, planning and environmental services or associated activities in a design and construction related process.
