Pursuant to section 156A (1) of the Education Act 1989,
I hereby declare that Putaruru Intermediate School (1913) and Putaruru High School (150) will merge on 1 January 2004.
Putaruru Intermediate School will be the continuing school and become a Form 1-7 (Year 7-15) school on the date of merger.
