Te Amorangi Matauranga Matua approved, pursuant to section 8 of the Industry Training Act 1992, provisional recognition for the NZ Equine Industry Training Organisation Incorporated for the equine industry incorporating the breeding, thoroughbred and harness racing (industry
racing facility administration and maintenance) farrier, and equestrian sports and recreation sectors to set standards at Levels 1 to 8 on the National Qualifications Framework for a period of up to six months with effect from 21 June 2003.
