Intention to Revoke Conservation

Management Plans
The Director-General of Conservation gives public notice of intention to revoke conservation management plans under section 40A (4) (b) of the Reserves Act 1977.
The conservation management plans are for the following reserves within Canterbury Conservancy, as approved in the year shown:
? Bankside Scientific Reserve (1979)
? Bendhu Scientific Reserve (1985)
? Eyrewell Scientific Reserve (1979)
? Kaitorete Spit Scientific Reserve (1986)
? Lance McCaskill Nature Reserve (1980)
? Motunau Island Nature Reserve (1980)

The plans can be viewed, by appointment, at the address below.
Persons and organisations wishing to object or make a submission on the proposal to revoke these conservation management plans must do so in writing by Monday,
4 August 2003 at 8.00 a.m.
The objection or submission should be sent to the Conservator Canterbury at the address specified below.
A person or organisation wishing to be heard in support of their objection or submission must request in their objection or submission an opportunity to appear before and be
heard by a person nominated as a Commissioner under the Reserves Act 1977.
