The Board of Skill New Zealand - Pukenga Aotearoa, pursuant to section 8 of the Industry Training Act 1992
and having consulted with the New Zealand Qualifications Authority, afforded provisional recognition to the Design and Construction Consultants Industry Training Organisation Incorporated for a period of 14 months to set standards at Levels 1 to 8 on the National Qualifications Framework for the design and construction consultants industry, effective from 30 October 2002.
It will set standards on the National Qualifications Framework in the following areas: For enterprises whose core business is involved with property valuation, architecture, engineering, graphics, product development, management, manufacturing, surveying, planning and environmental services or associated activities in a design and construction related process.
