Pursuant to clauses 2 (1), 3 and 25 of Schedule 13A of
the Education Act 1989 (as inserted by Schedule 1 of the Education (Tertiary Reform) Amendment Act 2002),
the Associate Minister of Education (Tertiary Education) gives the following notice.
N o t i c e
1. This notice may be cited as the Tertiary Education Commission (Membership) Notice 2003.
2. This notice comes into force on the day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
3. I appoint
Andrew West
Kaye Turner
Tina Olsen-Ratana
Jim Donovan
Andrew Little
Shona Butterfield
Ian Smith
John Blakey
to be members of the Tertiary Education Commission.
4. Further, I appoint
Andrew West
as the chairperson of the Tertiary Education Commission;
and appoint
Kaye Turner
as the deputy chairperson of the Tertiary Education Commission.
5. The appointments take effect from the day after the
date of the publication of this notice and expire on
31 December 2005.
