In accordance with section 37 (3) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, notification is hereby given that the Director of Civil Aviation has granted the following exemptions from the Civil Aviation Rule requirements:
3/EXE/2: 61.253 (5) (i) - requirement to hold a written pass in air law, with respect to the requirement in 61.17 (d) - that specifies that air law is valid for five years.
3/EXE/52: 19.405 - test pilot requirements.
3/EXE/56: 125.353 (4) - instruments and equipment in an operable condition.
3/EXE/57: 91.703 (d) (1) - display height at an aviation event.
3/EXE/54, 3/EXE /55: 67.55 (b) (5) - radiographic examination for the initial issue of a class 1 medical certificate.
3/EXE/53, 3/EXE/58: 67.19 (b) - validity period for examination reports for issue of a medical certificate.
3/EXE/50, 3/EXE/51: 91.529 (a) - requirement for automatic ELT.
3/EXE/33: 91.207 - occupation of seats and wearing of restraints.
3/EXE/34: 133.69 (3) - notify the territorial authority about an operation.
3/EXE/35: 133.69 (5) - notify the public of an operation.
3/EXE/36: 133.71 (a) (3) - release of equipment.
3/EXE/37: 133.71 (d) (3) - attachment to the rope for rappelling operations.
3/EXE/38: 133.257 - quick release devices.
Notice of the grant, withdrawal or denial of exemptions with provisos is published in the Civil Aviation Rules Register Information Leaflet (CARRIL).
