Pursuant to Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, Donald Norman Hutchinson, Acting Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice.
N o t i c e
1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waitaki District) Notice No. 2, 2003.
2. The road specified in the Schedule is declared to be
a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area pursuant to Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
3. Only that part of the Second Schedule that relates to State Highway No. 1 at Palmerston of the Traffic (Waitaki District) Notice 2003, signed on the 29th day of September 2003 is revoked.*
Schedule
Situated within the Waitaki District at Palmerston:
State Highway No. 1 (Awanui-Bluff): from a point 540 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said State highway from Thomas Street to a point 250 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said State highway from District Road.
