Pursuant to Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, Alan Dixon, Acting Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice.
N o t i c e
1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Clutha District) Notice 2003.
2. The roads specified in the Schedule are declared to be
70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
3. The Second Schedule only (that relates to State Highway
No. 1 at Balclutha) of the Traffic (Clutha District) Notice No. 2, 1991, dated the 8th day of October 1991, is revoked*.
Schedule
Situated within the Clutha District at Balclutha:
State Highway No. 1 (Awanui-Bluff): From a point 180 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said State highway from Gormack Street to a point 250 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said State highway from Cherry Lane; and from a point
20 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said State highway from Michies Road to a point 150 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said State highway from the Balclutha-Waitepeka Road.
