Pursuant to section 60 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, the Transit New Zealand Authority gives notice that the section of State highway described in the First Schedule hereto is revoked and the sections of road described in the Second Schedule hereto are declared to be State highway within the meaning and for the purpose of the Transit
New Zealand Act 1989.
First Schedule
That section of State Highway No. 2, at Napier City, commencing at the Hawke's Bay Airport and proceeding in a southerly direction to the railway crossing at Meeanee Quay (Route Position 638/8.08 to Route Position 638/9.20); a distance of 1.12 kilometres.
Second Schedule
State Highway No. 2 to include that section of recently constructed road at Napier City, commencing at the entrance to the Hawke's Bay Airport and proceeding in a southerly direction to the intersection with Watchman Road, then
in an easterly direction to the railway crossing at Meeanee Quay (Route Position 638/8.08 to new Route Position 647/0.15); a distance of 1.16 kilometres.
State Highway No. 2B to consist of that section of recently constructed road at Napier City, commencing at Watchman Road and proceeding in a southerly direction across the Ahuriri Estuary to its intersection with State Highway No. 50 at Taradale Road (Route Position 0/0.00 to Route Position 0/4.11); a distance of 4.11 kilometres.
