The Traffic (Christchurch City) Notice 2003

Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962
and Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, Peter Graeme Croft, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice.
N o t i c e
1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Christchurch City) Notice 2003.
2. The roads specified in the Schedule are declared to be excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, pursuant to section 52 (2) of that Act, and are also declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
3. This notice revokes only those parts of Traffic (Christchurch City, and Selwyn District at Templeton) Notice 2001* and only those parts of plan number LT01/56/4 entitled "Gazetted Speed Restrictions for Roads in Christchurch City and Roads at Templeton in Selwyn District", that relate to the sections of Anzac Drive and Bexley Road specified in the Schedule.
Schedule
Situated within the Christchurch City:
Anzac Drive: From a point 200 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said road from the prolongation of the centre line of Birch Street to a point 400 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said road from Wainoni Road.
Bexley Road: From the prolongation of the centre line of Birch Street to a point 200 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said road from the prolongation of the centre line of Birch Street.
