Pursuant to Regulation 36 of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1990, and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by the Director of Land Transport Safety,
I, Laszlo Andras Hidvegi, Senior Engineer, Safer Vehicles Policy, hereby exempt the vehicle in Schedule 1 of this notice from the requirement in Schedule 2, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 3.

Regulation 13 (3) (b) of the Transport (Vehicle Standards) Regulation 1990:
Requiring emergency brakes of vehicles to act as directly as possible on the wheels, without the interposition of any reduction or differential gearing.
Schedule 3
Conditions
(i) The original brake system of the vehicle must not be modified in any way.
(ii) This exemption or its copy must be presented before or during every Certificate of Fitness inspection.
(iii) This exemption can be revoked at any time.
