Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962
and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated
9 June 1997, I, Peter Graeme Croft, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice.
N o t i c e
1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Grey District) Notice 2003.
2. I hereby declare those localities and roads within markings identified in the legend of and appearing on
plan numbered LT0364/1, entitled "Grey District Speed Restrictions at Runanga" and held by the Head Office of
the Land Transport Safety Authority, to be closely populated localities, pursuant to section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962, or to be excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 (1) of that Act, pursuant to section 52 (2), as may be ascertained from the legend. The said plan and legend are hereby incorporated in this notice.
3. This notice revokes and is in substitution for those parts of the extract from New Zealand Gazette, 21 April 1938, No. 31, page 1000, entitled "Excluding Streets and Roads from Limitation as to Speed imposed by the Motor-vehicles Amendment Act, 1936, Section 3"* that relate to Runanga Borough.
