Pursuant to Regulation 67 (8) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and under delegated authority, I, John Andrew Justice, Principal Vehicle Engineer Land Transport Safety Authority, hereby approve the fitting of one flashing or revolving green beacon to the vehicles specified in Schedule 1 of this notice, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 2.
Schedule 1
Approved vehicles:
Any vehicle operated by a rural nurse specialist employed by the West Coast District Health Board.
Schedule 2
Conditions:
(i) The beacon may be used only while the vehicle is on urgent medical service.
(ii) The exemption may be revoked at any time.
