Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Acting Community Relations Manager, Southland Conservancy, Department of Conservation, notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Invercargill City Council on 11 December 2001:
"In exercise of the powers conferred on it by section
14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Invercargill City Council resolves that land held by the council in fee simple and described in the First Schedule, be declared to be recreation reserve, and in the Second Schedule, be declared to be scenic reserve, and in the Third Schedule, be declared to be local purpose reserve (camp ground)."
