Under the Conservation Act 1987, the Auckland Conservator of the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation authorises the exchange of the marginal strip described in the First Schedule for the strip of land in the Second Schedule, which is deemed to be reserved as marginal strip pursuant to section 24E (3) of the Act.
