Pursuant to section 24B (4) (b) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation declares that the marginal strip requirements set out in section 24 of the Conservation Act shall not apply in the case of the disposition of the land required in connection with electricity works (switchyards that are part of the Maraetai Power Station) specified in the Schedule.
