Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Acting Community Relations Manager of the Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of Conservation notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Hurunui District Council on
26 April 2001:
"That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Hurunui District Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be a recreation reserve within the meaning of the said Act."
