Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the Rodney District Council notifies that the following resolutions were passed by the Rodney District Council on 13 December 2001:
"In exercise of the powers conferred on it by section
14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Rodney District Council hereby resolves that the land described in the Schedule to this notice held by the council in fee simple shall be and the same is hereby declared to be, a reserve for recreation purposes within the meaning of the said Act";
"In exercise of the powers conferred on it by section
14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Rodney District Council hereby resolves that the land described in the Schedule to this notice held by the council in fee simple shall be named the Matheson Bay Reserve as proposed within the meaning of the said Act".
