Pursuant to section 79A of the Dental Act 1988, the following notice is given.
N o t i c e
1. Title and commencement-(1) This notice may be cited as the Dentists (Fees) Amendment Notice 2002 (No. 4) and shall come into force on 1 January 2003.
(2) This notice has the status of a Regulation for the purposes of the Regulations (Disallowance) Act 1989.
2. Fees-The Dental Council of New Zealand sets the following fees payable to the council specified in the attached Schedule.
3. Tax-The fees are inclusive of goods and services tax.

Temporary Registration for 6 months or less 877.50
Temporary Registration for 6-12 months 1115.00
Registration fee for overseas qualified dentists 640.00
Specialist Registration for New Zealand and Australian M.D.S. qualifications 430.00
Specialist Registration for other postgraduate qualifications 1870.00

1 Fees are calculated on a cost recovery basis.
2 Temporary registration is restricted in the first instance to 1 year. Applicants are required to apply for an extension at the end of that year (for up to 1 year and a combined total of 3 years).
