Pursuant to the terms of the Insurance Companies (Ratings & Inspections) Act 1994, the rating agency AM Best Company advises that effective from 20 June 2002,
the rating of Combined Specialty Insurance Company
(New Zealand Branch)'s insurer financial strength has
been downgraded to "A" (excellent).
