Pursuant to the Insurance Companies (Ratings and Inspections) Act 1994, the approved rating agency Standard & Poor's
has revised AMP Life Limited's insurer financial strength rating from "AA" to "AA-", effective from 30 July 2002.
"AA-" denotes "very strong financial security characteristics".
The rating outlook is negative.
