The Board of Skill New Zealand - Pukenga Aotearoa, pursuant to Section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992 and having consulted with the New Zealand Qualifications Authority, affords recognition to the New Zealand Hairdressing Industry Training Organisation Incorporated
to set standards at Levels 1 to 8 on the National Qualifications Framework for the hairdressing industry, effective from 20 June 2002.
