Pursuant to section 69 of the Films, Videos, and Publications Classification Act 1993, Justice Hammond, in the High Court at Wellington, hereby issues the following notice of revocation of an interim restriction order:
"An interim restriction order made in respect of the
film Baise-Moi on 12 April 2002, is revoked in consequence of the decision of the High Court to
allow the appeal of the appellant, the Society for the Promotion of Community Standards Inc. Until such time as the Film and Literature Board of Review reconsiders the classification of the film, there is no classification in full force and effect and the film cannot be shown."
