Pursuant to section 369 (6) of the Fisheries Act 1996, the Minister of Fisheries makes the following notice.
N o t i c e
1. Title-This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (Northland Scallop Fishery Season) Notice 2002.
2. Commencement-This notice comes into force on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
3. Interpretation-In this notice, the term "Northland Scallop Fishery" has the meaning as defined in section 2 of the Fisheries Act 1996.
4. Northland Scallop Fishery Season-From the day this notice comes into force, the Northland Scallop Fishery season for the 2002/03 year, and every subsequent year, will be the period from 15 July to the following 14 February (both dates inclusive).
5. Revocation-The Fisheries (Northern Scallop Fishery Season) Notice 2001 (No. F188) is revoked.
