Pursuant to section 156A of the Education Act 1989,
I hereby declare that Hangaroa School (2568) and Waeranga-O-Kuri School (2712), east of Gisborne, will merge on 20 September 2002.
Waeranga-O-Kuri School will be the continuing school.
