Pursuant to section 11A of the Judicature Act 1908,
Her Excellency the Governor-General, in the name and
on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, has been pleased
to appoint
The Honourable Peter George Spenser Penlington
to be an acting Judge of the High Court for a term of 1 year commencing on 19 December 2001, a certificate having been signed by the Chief Justice and 3 other permanent Judges of the High Court that in their opinion it is necessary for the due conduct of the business of the Court that an acting Judge be appointed.
