The Ministry of Economic Development wishes to advise that Radio Spectrum Auction 5 will commence on Tuesday, 23 July 2002 at 9.00 a.m.
Registrations for the auction are now open and will close on Monday, 8 July 2002 at 4.00 p.m.
Registrations received after the closing date will not be accepted.
Radio spectrum management right lots suitable for a number of different technologies including wireless local loop (WLL), local multi-point distribution systems (LMDS) and cellular services are included in the auction.
The multiple round auction will be held electronically, via the Internet.
