Pursuant to the Civil Aviation Act 1990, I, Mark Gosche, Minister of Transport, hereby give notice that I have exercised the power conferred by section 87R of the
Civil Aviation Act 1990, and designated Samoa and Tonga as countries in respect of which:
(a) scheduled international air services; and
(b) non-scheduled international flights engaged in
the carriage of passengers, cargo or mail for remuneration or hire;
may be carried on, to and from New Zealand, pursuant to and in conformity with an open aviation market licence.
This designation shall come into effect from the date of this notice.
