Pursuant to section 13 of the Fisheries Act 1996, the Minister of Fisheries, after having regard to the matters specified in that section, makes the following notice.
N o t i c e
1. Title and commencement-(1) This notice may be cited as the Fisheries (Northland Scallop Total Allowable Catch) Notice 2002.
(2) This notice comes into force on 1 April 2002.
2. Northland Scallop Fishery defined-(1) The Northland Scallop Fishery quota management area (SCA1) has the meaning given to it in section 2 (1) of the Fisheries Act 1996.
3. Total allowable catch for Northland scallops-The total allowable catch for Northland scallops is 75.000 tonnes meatweight.
